Hey guys, hope everyone has had a great day. Anyways I am going to start using Audition to start fine editing my voice-overs on my Tutorials/Gameplay videos. This might be a really dumb question but how do I record my voice on audition and my gameplay/screen on Shadowplay (Or another screen recorder) and have my Voice sync up with my video when I edit it? Do I just assign the same hotkey on both Adobe Audition and Screen Record Program, and when I press the hotkey it will record my screen/webcam and my voice? Will it all sync up Properly? Or how do I do it? Again I hope this doesn't sound like a really dumb question. Thank you!

The best thing to do is to get a screen recorder that has a voice recorder built into it so you only have to hit record once and it records both your screen and voice at the same time (and webcam if you want)
If you really wanna use Adobe Audition i'm sure there are tutorials about on how to do this.

Of course, but the whole reason I am wanting to do this so i can add effects to my voice and edit the sound of my voice in much better detail. Using recording software like I've been doing works good with my Audio Technica, but I would love to make my voice a little deeper etc in adobe. I could even separate my voice over/game sounds and then just drag my voice over file into Adobe but when I separate the tracks on Shadowplay, I don't know where the audio tracks go.

Do something on screen and say something at the same time so you can sync it up when your going to edit it.

For example, if you have an Xbox click the home button that pulls up the menu and right when you do that say Menu and do it about 5 times, record what you want after that then sync it up later when editing?

I don't know if this is what you are talking about, but I think it is so I am going to post it and then go into more detail.

In the spoiler up there I embedded a screenshot I took of my OBS setup for recordings. I have multiple audio tracks that are all on separate tracks from each other. My game, voice, discord, chrome, etc are all being recorded all the time, but if I have say music or something in the background while I am playing games and don't want to be copy right struck on YouTube, then I can just mute that track and we are golden. This would also allow you to drag these files into Audition and fine tune your audio in post. You could add more bass to your voice as you said above, you could remove audio or move it around however you see fit in that regard. I hope this is what you were asking about and if it is and you have more questions feel free to shoot me a pm or something and I will try and help you further.
