Hi Guys,

Not often I ask for help in this one but I need it lol.

So purchased a brand spanking new PC which is in fact a HP 280 G2. As standard I rebuild machines to get the bloatware off the machine.

I noticied when I connected the machine to the internet it instantly crashes! Very strange I thought, rebooted and retested and it did the same thing. Baffled eh cause I am?

So what have I tried:
Downloaded the drivers from: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
Rebuilt the machine from scratch (done this a few times with a Windows 10 HP image)
Safe mode with networking doesn't show any adapter settings
Service host wasn't running at all when boot into the machine, amended this
Swapped the SSD out from another HP 280 G2 which works fine, this didn't fix it.

I'm thinkng it's a board fault. Before I RMA the unit, does anyone else have any other suggestions. I have tried like a thousand more things which I cannot remember lol.

Cheers

Ah! Note, the LAN is isolated, the LAN is clean of viruses/malware.

Rebuild with stock Win 10 drivers, no HP drivers. Normally, most BSOD // crashes will be because of drivers.

Lemme know the outcome.

Yeah already tried that. Still did it after the rebuild. Then downloaded each driver individual driver from the SWSETUP folder from c:\... from the other brand new HP machine.

I've put an RMA request in lol
