I want to build a $3000 gaming PC but i don't have a good head for computer builds. I chose my specs but I don't know if I'm missing something or some parts are not compatible with each other. Here are the specs:
Processor:Intel Core i9-7940X X-series Processor
Graphics Card: GeForce GTX 1080 Ti
Motherboard: MSI Performance Gaming Intel X299 LGA 2066 DDR4 USB 3.1 SLI Micro ATX
CPU Cooler: Enermax ets t40f
Memory: SSD 860 EVO 2.5" SATA III 1TB
SSD: Intel Optane
Power Supply: Corsair SF600
RAM: Fury DDR3 16GB
Case: be quiet! DARK BASE 700 Mid-Tower Case with RGB LEDs

I'd say an upgrade on the cooler for sure.

Also just make sure either the MOBO has a built-in wireless or has something to remedy that.

Reply with build list:
I put your build with a few changes suggested by users above me and better parts within the same category in a pcpartpicker list as @Monster402 suggested.

Price breakdown by merchant: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

CPU: Intel - Core i9-7940X 3.1GHz 14-Core Processor ($1299.99 @ SuperBiiz)
CPU Cooler: Noctua - NH-D15 82.5 CFM CPU Cooler ($86.10 @ OutletPC)
Motherboard: MSI - X299M GAMING PRO CARBON AC Micro ATX LGA2066 Motherboard ($275.99 @ SuperBiiz)
Memory: Kingston - HyperX Fury Black 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4-2133 Memory ($189.89 @ OutletPC)
Storage: Samsung - 860 Evo 1TB M.2-2280 Solid State Drive ($289.99 @ Amazon)
Video Card: EVGA - GeForce GTX 1080 Ti 11GB FTW3 GAMING iCX Video Card ($1004.98 @ Newegg)
Case: be quiet! - Dark Base 700 ATX Mid Tower Case ($169.99 @ SuperBiiz)
Power Supply: Corsair - CXM 650W 80+ Bronze Certified Semi-Modular ATX Power Supply ($64.49 @ Amazon)
Total: $3381.42

The image shown below is a comparability log that pcpartpicker outputs telling of possible complications. It says that since I chose you an m.2 drive over a SATA based SSD that if you had a hard drive or another SSD some of your SATA ports would be turned off, which isn't an issue since you only have one drive being your SSD. The other thing is that your graphics card could block drive bays, but since you don't have any drives I assume you will be removing those anyways so again it doesn't matter. I also went ahead and switched out your cooler with a much better cooler and I checked ahead of time and it does fit in your case.

TL;DR: I switched your CPU cooler, changed your SATA based SSD to an m.2 SSD, and picked a better power supply for less money and included it all in a part list listed above. Cheers.
