Hey guys my name is Kyl3 as you can obviously tell, I am a huge Toyota fan and I've been selling them for two years. I just recently traded out of my 2016 Camry and decided to upgrade.. a LOT. This is my new truck that I've had for a month. It's an SR5 short-bed double cab, it's still under a lease so I can't make any physical changes to the suspension or engine. Still looking for advice else wise on the vehicle, cosmetically speaking. Before anyone asks, yes I would have preferred a TRD but I happened to find this 2017 with just 1200 miles on it for a hefty discount. Let me know what you guys think and if I should add roof racks, or other equipment. Thank you!

I think a camper shell looks badass on trucks like that, then a roof rack will look better.

How long is the lease?

I appreciate it man, I love the rugged feel of this line of trucks a lot more than RAM. Plus the maintenance is unbelievably easy.

Honestly I've been looking into these camping shells, I think it might be more beneficial when I buy out the lease; at that point traveling won't affect me. The lease right now is for 3 years/ 36,000 miles, and the great thing is the buyout. When I originally leased the truck I got so much under value, that when I reach the end of my lease agreement there will be a good amount of equity remaining so I can either roll it into another pickup or buyout with great value.

My manager bought a camper shell for his tacoma years and years ago, still worth a ton of money. He's looking into one now for his 2017 Tacoma and is willing to spend the money so I say do it

Great truck!! I've always liked those bed covers just like the one on your truck. I hate the ones that are like 4 inches thick and protrude, makes the truck look odd, imo. Bed covers for 2014-2018 Silverados cost an arm and a leg, its crazy.
