For some reason, many fans of Dragon Ball Z and Super have wondered why Saiyans hair turn blond. This isn't a secret nor does it involve some of the weird Aryian race theories you see online. The real reason which has been said multiple times has recently been reiterated by Weekly Shonen Jump's editor-in-chief, Hiroyuki Nakano, in a new report he said that Akira Toriyama himself stated the reason was to simply ease his workload. Toriyama said, "I wanted to omit the trouble of painting black". You see if the Saiyans hair is blonde then in the manga they can leave the hair white and save time and effort.
