R.B.I. Baseball 2018 is the newest installment in MLBAM's revival of an old classic baseball game series and the first to be developed solely by MLBAM. They have gone and attempted a complete overhaul as to provide the players with a truly magnificent baseball game that relight the flame for the baseball genre.

FRANCHISE MODE:
Take control of your favorite MLB team! Make trades, pick up free agents or call up rookies through multiple seasons.

BRAND NEW HOME RUN DERBY MODE:
Challenge a friend or the CPU in the ultimate slugfest!

BETTER BALLPARKS:
Experience enhanced lighting, textures, revamped 3-D crowd system and new dynamic camera angles in all 30 MLB ballparks.

AUTHENTIC MLB PLAYERS:

Whilst the game releases on the 20th of this month, that is only for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions; unfortunately there will be a slight lag for the other platforms. The iOS version will release the following week whilst the Android and Nintendo Switch versions will have only been given a spring 2018 window.

Personally I do not play sports games as they don't hold my attention, and as for baseball in particular,
I just don't see much fun in it unless you are an avid fan of the sport. As for other baseball game series, they don't manage to stay strong and are instead short-lived; maybe this title will withstand the test of time.
