Overview
Battlefield 1, as nostalgic as any World War I game will get! The official reveal trailer on May 6th, 2016 had everyone wanting it earlier. The trailer for Battlefield 1 absolutely stomped its competition at the time: Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, by matching the perfect song with real game play (Seven Nation Army - The White Stripes (Glitch Mob Remix)). Players will find themselves playing through 'War stories' and experiencing what first hand combat was ultimately like during World War I. From the classic 'Dog Fights' in most of the Battlefield series, to the functioning vehicles, and now from the Horseback! Online game play is just as good as the 'War Stories', allowing players to climb the ranks, unlock new weapons, tools, and of course much more. We cannot forget the sneaky easter eggs DICE has fed their curious explorers over the entire Battlefield series too!

Gameplay
Battlefield 1 is an amazing re-creation of World War I, featuring playable stories that take the player through 'Dog Fights', Desert Warfare, Trench combat, and Stealth missions. All of which require the player to have a great deal of focus and attention when playing to feel the game at it's peak immersive feel. The online community is great and never ignored, developers playing in public; announced special servers where players can have the chance to win special in-game items such as 'Dog tags'. Any warfare fanatic would find this game interesting in the terms of operating deadly 'Behemoths' which are available in multiplayer online game modes such as 'Conquest'.

Campaign mode; the Battlefield 1 campaign could be deemed 'open' due to it's optional stories player can select to experience, there are a total of five 'War Stories' and each of them do not let down the players expectations. The good thing about it being an open market is that players get to choose from any experience they would to play, such as certain events that occurred in World War I, first hand with no restrictions. A personal favorite 'War Story' of mine included in the campaign is when you get to drive the classic Mark V Land ship (Heavy Tank), it's a really fun game to play and I couldn't stress enough how much this games campaign should be played! Video below spoils the entire campaign but I still suggest you play it first hand for the full experience!:

Multiplayer Online; as most of you know DICE's Battlefield games never come to disappoint with online game play, but for those who don't... Battlefield 1 just like its previous successors has a in game lobby player limit of up to 64 players! that's 32 vs 32 on any one of the nine maps (DLC not included) playable, it's a pure blood bath and the player will not find themselves deprived of all out combat when playing. Having such a large lobby size let's the Battlefield series kill its military simulation console-competitors such as Call of Duty which only allows small numbers per a lobby. Multiple game modes are of course included, but most fan favorites are the classics: Conquest, Rush, and Team Death match... oh and the new War Pigeons, a game mode better played then read about, but of course for those eager to get the details of the new game mode can view the spoiled content below on a Picture:

Another favorite piece of Battlefield 1's online experience which should be addressed are the many hidden 'Easter Eggs' the developers hide throughout the game. There are multiple small easter eggs which can simply be found by the player, but for the more complex ones... DICE really went all out on them. From a Shark in a blood pool (An on going Battlefield Easter Egg - The Megalodon), to an insane Sherlock Holmes style morse code hunt in which players must decode hidden messages with the end reward of an exclusive dog tag. The Easter Egg is broken into three parts but for anyone interested in how insane even the first part is, here is a Video:

DLC; DICE almost guarantees DLC with all of their new Battlefield's! and for Battlefield 1 they have decided to give us four in total so far, and hopefully many more. The DLC is better purchased through the one time in-game membership offered, 'Premium' which unlocks all DLC and also gives the player a few extra in-game items. These DLCs aren't just for the die hard fans either, they offer a wide range of activities... such as more Easter Eggs, game modes, and map exclusive weapons. I personally would recommend the purchase of 'Premium' to play these. Picture below is one of the many maps available in 'In The Name of Tsar' DLC:

Controls
The controls in Battlefield 1 are very basic in terms of 'Combat Actions' however offer much more advance features like; the chat circle. Where players can hold the upper right bumper on their controllers and use their left stick to navigate, highlight and select a chat to display in game for their team members. PC however offers 'Free Speech' and isn't limited to the quick chats on console. Picture below shows the basic Xbox Controller controls (Same as that on PlayStation):

Graphics
The only way to explain how good the graphics in Battlefield 1 are is to not explain at all but instead show an amazing picture which explains it all:

The fire wrapping around the tree... the little droplets of rain resting on the gun... the flying bullet shell. Not a single detail missed.

The game has amazing detail which highly improves the deliverance of combat in-game, making the player feel like they are really there and not being cheated by poorly made textures. Battlefield 1 is amazing to look at and on that note I suggest if you play this that you stop every now and then to pay attention to the detail... while trying not to die of course.

Ratings (Personal)
Gameplay: 10/10
Controls: 9.5/10
Graphics: 10/10
Overall: 9.9/10

Review Note
On a side note, this review might be considered overkill with pictures and videos but they're well worth showing to motivate the quality of the game these wonderful developers have made for us!

10/10 on the review bro.

But honestly I don't like the game anymore, I used to play it all the time, until I kept getting killed by people in tanks and planes..

Didn't really know about the easter eggs in this game to be honest, but about the review, this is one of the best I've seen on the site so far. You went super in depth and added more videos and pictures than normal. Very good BF1 review mate

Wow dude this is a very well written review! I think the fact you went above and beyond with the images and clips is better, some of the ones on here are just a few lines but this is great.

In terms of your assesment of the game, i unfortunatly dont agree, i didnt enjoy BF1 as much as i was hoping i would. I hyped it up in my head and it was just a bit stale.

I played it for a while and i tried the classes but i prefer FPS games where i can rush and play super aggro which in BF1 for some of the maps is a rough playstyle to have. The maps were way too big and without vehicles i found myself sprinting around the map too much.

The graphics were cool tho and the events like the sandstorms, zeplins and all that were pretty cool.

My favourite map was the one with a swampy pond at the start and a train.
