It was great, awesome storyline they never got around to telling in the anime. I am a little annoyed that even the manga ends before everything gets wrapped up, so I'll have to look for the actual novels to get the ending I desire. But a great series overall. 8/10.

Checked this out on MAL and looks pretty funny! So you're kind of saying that the manga is better than the anime?

Not at all, I'm saying the manga goes further than the anime did. Both are excellent. You might get a little more detail in the manga version but essentially it's the same either way.

While the endless 8 was annoying, there was content in there the original show didn't have, and it wasn't totally unenjoyable. Would I have preferred an actual second season? Heck yes, but I'm not gonna say no to more of a show I love. Overall, while it wasn't what we wanted, it wasn't necessarily bad either.
