I have a 995 dollar budget to do this I dont "need" a power supply mouse keyboard monitor operation system or video card. Goals are to oc the memory and cpu with a basic water cooling rig, to update to the current tech (I have a desktop that i first built about a decade ago but doesn't post anymore ran ddr2 and a am3 slot ), to play my games on near max if not max settings with mods skyrim/fallout 4, and to light it up with rgb fans and other equipment.

At a later date this rig will include a new 4gb video card a full 32gb of ram a ryzen 7 and 4k monitor. I am using new egg exclusively i have a history with them and like there selection/prices. My shopping list is usually being altered already I wont have the money till next month.

Heres the part list

Total comes to $978.99 leaving me some change I might add on this power supply my old one is a 600 watt in good working order though Thermaltake Toughpower Grand RGB 650W. I am a experienced pc builder but i haven't built anything in awhile so ill take advice frankly 99% of the tech thats used today wasn't available yet on my last build at least the bus speeds ect.

Edit: Confirmed need a new pc just rebuilt it with a older cpu still wont post unless its the video card no way to test that atm my old one is in storage at my brothers.
