Not the best but I think it's pretty good for a first timer.

Honestly for a first attempt it's not bad however, it's not a logo. The Text/Design in the middle is.

My advice would be to start off with minimalistic designs, then once you feel like it start adding details.

I'm not what I used to be with designing however if you need any help, feel free to message me!

As per stated by Devil, it's best to just stick with minimalist designs in general, as that's what modern design trends call for anyway. Additionally, for future reference, you will also want to take into consideration that typefaces, fonts, and their glyphs raise intellectual property considerations in copyright, trademark, design patent, and related laws. This meaning, if you plan to utilize any of the latterly stated within your designs, ensure that you have a license to do so, especially for any client work at which you may delve into in the future.

I must definitely recommend checking out Will Paterson, and other artists on YouTube, as they will stir inspiration, and hopefully instill some healthy design habits. If you need any help, or want some critique on a design, feel free to post within this section or even private message me.
