Hi I was wondering if anyone could help, I'm looking at changing from console to pc, I will still keep a console got certain games. But I'm looking to build a pc on a budget. The pc will be built over a few months but I'm looking to build one that's capable of playing most new games. I mostly play pubg, fifa, rainbow six , so mostly new games that I know can be demanding. Also I will be using the pc for general browsing an occasionally work related but only word etc. My budget will be 600 GBP which could increase depending what's needed over time. I'm patient so I don't mind waiting for things to come down etc. I will need a whole build including mouse, keyboard and monitor. Any advice would be helpful and much appreciated.

Thanks

I'd wait a few months if you can to build something. In the current state of affairs, GPU and RAM prices are pretty much double what they should be.

Thanks for the reply.

Yeah I noticed that due to cryptomining, but just trying to get some ideas and what's possible on pc as coming from console.

Hopefully prices will drop eventually

With your budget you could previously build a solid machine, currently it would't be so great.

Yeah I've seen some but look at it now and they are triple the price. So you reckon to wait a couple of months then pick up parts. I'll keep and eye out on parts as I might pick some up along the way. Would you say wait for a graphics card or pick one up soon ? Also could you recommend a monitor between say 24 inch and 28 inch ?

Thanks for your help

I just built this really quick but a solid machine, did not include a GPU because it would skew the pricing off too much but this would pretty much handle what you are describing with ease if you slapped a GTX 1070 or better on it.

Thank you for your help it's really helped and given an insite to whats available. I think I'll wait a couple of months till the prices come down. As I built thishttps://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/ZLnnTB and the price is high considering by the looks of it, it's not even a high end pc. Any opinions?

Thanks again

Yeah, you have no SSD, only 8 gb of RAM, and the 1050 Ti is a pretty low end card.

Don't.

GTX 1070 in a £600 budget? Don't think so. You've also recommended a parts list that is almost entirely useless for OP anyway.

My dude, you recommended a 1050Ti in an $1100 system but it's too low end for a £600 system?

OP - If £600 is your budget, that's your budget and it's fine. GPU pricing in the UK has only just started going up and it's nowhere near as ridiculous as it is in the US. RAM pricing is WAAYYY up from what it should be, but it's been steadily increasing for like 18 months now so that's not a surprise to anyone, it's just something that you have to deal with unfortunately. Come back when you actually have the money and are ready to start buying everything, then we can help you with a parts list.
