The parts where he raps with no beat is alright, it'd be better if he did it full on the beat cuz it sounds weird asf but it's different. Sounds more like a couple takes with few editing.

I would tell your friend to invest in a better microphone or sound proof wherever he is because at :23 seconds you can hear the white noise of the room he is in.

tell your friend to move his mic in his closet. it sounds weird but there will be less noise

If he does move the mic into the closet, make sure he stands in the closet and projects his voice into the room.

Read this article if you want a good understanding of how to properly record your voice. I have a recording studio at my house and I place the microphone in the center of the room.

New Microphone would be a improvement but other then that it sounded pretty good.

Wasn't bad but he needs a better microphone for sure, even with everyone suggesting it I suggest him getting one. His voice doesn't sound crisp with his current one.
