I'm sure you've got to take at least one general Math class in any concentration but I'm not entirely sure.

If you don't want to take classes after that general mathematics class, it really all depends on what you're wanting to study. Engineering, for example, I don't think there's any way you can avoid math at all in that field of study. In psychology, what I'm studying, the only math class I had to take was general math and this year, I'm taking a Statistics class.

I believe it really all comes down to the field of study you want to go for.

Depends on your major and the university. Most colleges (within universities) require at least one general math course (as Ancestor stated). Luckily though, these gen ed math courses typically encompass stuff you've already most likely covered in High school. For instance, my buddy had to take a 1000 level algebra course for his major (biological sciences). He said it was incredibly easy and every lesson within the course was covered in high school.

Almost every single study requires at least a basic math course to get your credits.

Your going to have to take some sort of math class, depending on your major will determine how far into the math subjects you will go.

I know you've heard this a bunch of times, I asked my advisor and she said it's mandatory for a student to take a math course. I wish you could get around it, but you can't. Unless you skip? Lol.

Maybe if you major in gender studies. But almost all degrees will require at least college algebra.
