I just got my RGH today, loaded XeXMenu, Dashlaunch, and Aurora. I went to XeXMenu to try to install mw2 and for some reason it wont start installing. I press X to see the different storage spaces and dvd wont show up, and on the dashboard when i try to put a disc in, it'll go in but it wont change from "Open Tray" Any help is appreciated!

Xex menu is pretty bad with installing discs, no idea why it doesn't work.

I use freestyle dash to copy it as I find it most easiest to work, I'm sure aurora has the same thing. Just use that unless you want to spend hours manually copy and pasting them over in xex menu lol

Mine does the same I'm pretty sure there is a fix out there by re aligning the laser that reads the dvd's or something.

well I think it's my disc drive itself and not xexmenu because i've tried aurora and fsd and none of them read the disc

Have you tried another disc just to see if it is the disc drive?

Have you cleaned the disc under water too, that legit always makes it read it

I'd try out a few discs to make sure it isn't your disc. Otherwise your disc drive is faulty, and would have to be repaired or replaced in order to fix..

If the game plays, 9/10x it will burn it with no problems at all..

If the game does not play, then you will not be able to burn it to the hdd.

you can also download games from pc and transfer to xbox with a usb

Try a few discs. If it continues then your laser is most likely shot. As others have said, try installing in FSD, if that doesn't work then I'd just get a a few ISOs
