I've just built my first PC.
Everything was going so well. I installed windows, went online and downloaded latest drivers for Asus strix gtx 1060 from Nvidia.
Then the PC froze. I had to turn it off with a long press of the power button.
Now I can turn it back on and power goes to PC. LED's come on on motherboard, graphics card and fans turn. However, no signal is received via hdmi to the TV.
Also a long press on the power button doesn't switch the PC off anymore. I have to switch off the PSU.

If anyone has any ideas I'd be very grateful.
Thanks.

Additional info:

1. It isn't the graphics card. It works fine when swapped into another PC.

2. Putting a working graphics card into the problem PC doesn't make any difference. Still no signal to the display and long press of power button won't turn the PC off.

3. I disconnected drives etc, apart from boot drive, same problems.

4. I reseated RAM, tried each stick individually, tried the RAM in the other two slots, same problems.

I think that leaves the motherboard and CPU. Motherboard is ASUS Strix B350 F, and CPU is a Ryzen 1600.

Hopefully someone with more experience can tell me I've missed something ...

1. Clear CMOS. Your motherboard manual will have instructions.

2. Try to get error information from the motherboard. Some models will have LEDs for error codes and some will require you to attach a small speaker that came in the box.

3. Try connecting the monitor to integrated graphics. The video connector will be on the board, not the card.
