Could need a reflow, could just need some new thermal paste. Could need other areas reflowed/ possibly reballed as well.. 1 which i do not have the proper equipment for and if i'm honest, repair work on these systems do not tend to hold up as you'd expect and more often then none, becomes a hassle to attempt to repair. To get better understanding of the console, how long have you owned it and has the problem just started? If so, you might just need to redo the thermal paste and jack your fan speeds up to better cool your system. |
