I found the D.O.C.P settings (xmp) i tried setting them and my pc failed post, can you help me figure this out so i can get the advertised 3200mhz out of my ram

My cpu is a Ryzen 5 1600x

Give me the make and model number of the RAM. G.Skillz have a range of sticks when it comes to DDR4.

I assume you've done a bit of research on your memory and looked into XMP properly before jumping into it?

Is your BIOS flashed on the latest version?

My sticks have no labeling on them so i dont know the model number.
These are the exact sticks i bought.

Ah right ok, sorry for the late reply works a bitch haha.

Can you download CPU-Z and give me a screenshot of what you see in there if you can actually get into your system?

I have a feeling it will tell you it's running at 1600MHz but if in dual channel, you'd times that by 2 giving you 3200MHz...

Download the program and post a screenshot lad

I can do every other MHz except 3200MHz, it lets me do 3066mhz but not 3200MHz. I got it to post once on 3200MHz

That screenshot:

Does confirm that it's running at 3200MHz 3000MHz. Strange one if it won't run at the standard clock.

Just something that's on my mind, are there any chipset updates available? Within it being a fairly new socket I wonder if something is stopping it achieving 3200MHz.. Unlikely cause you've flashed the MOBO.

I'll do some research and get back to you

I actually got it to 3200mhz today by uping the voltage for the DRAM higher than WHATBTHE D.O.C.P set for me.
