Is it possible to UNLOCK the Battle Pass or do you have to buy it? If I don't have to spend money, I won't.

Yes you have to purchase the battle pass for 950 V-Bucks (£7.99) however after purchasing it you have the opportunity to earn back 1250 V-Bucks by upgrading your tiers

i mean its only 10$ and you get 3+ characters 3+ pickaxes and a bunch of fun stuff like dances. if you plan on playing the game a lot, id recommend it.
