Ive always thought about this, but whats the point in Netflix taken off good movies and TV series?

I just found out last night they took of Prison Break ffs, I understand its been on there a while but whats the harm just leving it there.

I'm pretty sure they lease content for certain ammounts of time. Sometimes long sometimes less. it sucks when they take stuff off thats been there forever though!

Because Netflix's catalog (minus their own 'Netflix original' content) is licensed for a predetermined amount of time. Mainly because money but also because it wouldn't make sense to keep all 9 seasons of Roseanne on Netflix for 5 years if nobody is watching it. It's all about demand and what the publishing companies want to license out and for how much.

Ok i guess, that does answer my question, just sad to see Prison Break go though, lets hope they dont do that with Breaking Bad :O

Yoooo. This made me pissy too. I couldn't find prison break and they don't have American Dad on there anymore. Only half of the seasons of futurama. No south park. -.-
