So basically I want to know if I should upgrade or just build a new PC. Keep in mind that I know my fair share about computers but I have never built a pc from scratch. Just changed ram and graphics card on old computer.

This is my PC now:
i7-6700 @ 3.4Ghz
16 GM RAM
Some shit AMD graphics card that came pre-built. Its 2 gb

My budget is looking to be $2500 at the most.
I would be playing all kinds of games from league to skyrim.

imo I would just get a good gpu cuz your system seems to be pretty decent. Unless you really want a new system then I mean I liking the 8th gen intel cpus I have a i7 with a 1080 and can run everything. But I'm sure that if you just got a 1080 for like 550 and threw it in there you'd get similar results.

LoL and Skyrim are pretty easy to run. What else do you use the system for?
What monitor(s) are you using?
What's the make and model of both the case and PSU?
What's your storage like?
What specific AMD GPU do you have?
