Hey guys so i recently got a Alienware 17 R4 and when i play PUBG i sit at 40FPS but when i plug in my charger and play it starts going up in FPS (Goes up to atlas 120FPS) and heats up and sounds loud what is going on any help?? Please post below or pm me thanks!

Well for a start you got an Alienware laptop so should probably send it back ;) jk

Interesting one... Is it set to power saver mode when the charger is unplugged from the laptop as it may limit hardware performance.

Don't have a clue about Alienware laptops, not sure if they limit speeds when the battery is low or unplugged. Whether is needs a certain amount of power pass through I'm not sure but give it a go as mentioned above.

Hey buddy lol funny but I already have a gaming PC just wanted something portable for all my damn traveling so I thought it would be the best for the back etc but yeah I think you have a point there I was looking into it I'll tinker with it more on what your saying thanks again will keep you updated!

Yeah nice one buddy, if it's a brand new machine, it may be worth asking Dell I'd imagine you'll have some sort of support package with such an expensive machine.

But yeah, let us know
