Sounds Like the HDD is broke or you may have damaged something inside the computer because it doesn't seem to be Recognising Your Operating System, try doing a system Repair or a restore if it doesn't let you do any of these then you might have to do a factory rest on the computer pal.

Unless you have all of the data backed up on a USB device.

But as people have said if it it a work laptop then take it to the IT guys im sure they have backups.

As r00t said don't bother fixing it yourself if you have IT.

Honestly happens all the time. Shake the laptop and see if anything is rattling around. Probably unseated your HDD.

Alternatively run a HDD scan within the BIOS and see if you've **** any sectorsssssss

I will further echo what r00t and AD4M said, just take it to IT and say you dropped it.

As someone who works in IT Support, the worst thing is when someone comes in and says, "my laptop isn't working today, but it was working fine yesterday" Did you do anything to it? "no". You later find out where it has been dropped...
