Hi everyone, i'm new to Xbox Modding, so bare with me if my questions seem a bit silly.
so I've been looking for a procedure that allows you to burn an original xbox disc straight to the hard drive of an original xbox console. when I was a kid, my friend had a modded console, with some sort of mod chip, that allowed him to insert an xbox disc, and that disc would be burnt straight to the hard drive, and he'd be able to play the game without any disc, and all the data intact.
I'm not sure about much, all i know is that he had a mod chip, which i THINK is the xecutor 2? I'm not too sure, it glowed blue. ad he was able to save the games to his console and play without a disc.
is there anyone selling these kinds of systems? or do i have to do it myself? any help would be appreciated, its been years and I've been looking for so long without much progress

RGH's/Jtags would do this for you, idk if a flashed harddrive would, i think they just allow you to play games downloaded online. There are sellers on here i believe for rghs.

are you talking about the original xbox? or 360 i'm talking about original xbox's and i didnt know there were jtags for OGs

The closest thing to this now honestly would be aurora. If your using disk, aurora can transfer the files from that disk safetly into your hard drive so that once you have those files extracted you wont need to use the disk to play

RGH/JTAG/XK3Y/FLASHEDHARDDRIVE can run burned games.
