Thinking about starting to cut my own hair. Does anyone here do this or done it in the past?
I haven't made a decision yet

i havent done it before but it sounds like it could be a difficult task, but it would be cheaper than going to a barber

Personally, I've always had my dad cut my hair. Quick and easy. Get a buzz cut every time. I've never cut it myself, I feel like it'd be too easy for me to screw it up

never again its hard to cut your own hair unless you have multiple mirrors so you can see where youre cutting or if you have one of those head shaped razors they work decently, but it depends if you dont have any family around you or if you dont have money for a pro cut

I work with a kid that cuts his own hair, it honestly doesn't look awful and you would never guess that he does it himself. Not sure how he's gotten good at it, but it works for him.

My fiance is actually a hair stylist, so she just cuts mine. I would never even try to cut my own, it would be a disaster.

I personally wouldn't even attempt it at all. Knowing me, I'd make a balls-up of it. Would rather spend a few quid and get it done by someone who knows what exactly they're doing.
