Move to an SD, swap it to the new; load and continue.

If google based, sign in to your account on the new phone, and redownload/sync.

You could use a USB cable to transfer them over or;
Create a google account and use Google Drive...

What application created the playlists? Usually it is something within that application that handles the playlists.

Depending how they are created. There might be a .m3u [Playlist extension] in the application folder on the phone somewhere. You just gotta find it.

I created them in the Samsung music app.

I downloaded the app to find out where they were saved. #Dedication.

My playlists were saved to - This PC\Galaxy S8\Phone\Playlists

That said, it looks like its encrypted so you can't simply export it out. I've tried it on my Galaxy tab and on another phone, no luck so far.

Looks like you'll have to re-create them
