So I recently found a computer, called the 8Pack OrionX. It's $30,000. I'm just wondering why this is necessary?

Rendering/calcuations, big projects use for cad and other things on a large scale.

Huge ass servers, rendering/developing etc for big companies to produce games/videos etc.
