Okay so around a year and half ago I sold my PS4 and forgot to sign out my account. So I gave the account details to the person I sold it to. I just purchased a PS4 and want to use my old account as it has lots of progress and games bought digitally.

I have tried resetting the password and it asks for the DOB when I try to reset it, however its saying it's wrong. I might have put a fake DOB, can't remember now. Im trying to get on the live support and when it asks for my PSN Email for the account its saying the following

I'm sorry, we are unable to locate an account for you. If you already have an account, please make sure your information is entered correctly before trying again. For help creating an account, please go here: Create Account

My questions are:

- If the PSN email was changed would I have been notified to the old email that the password was changed or email was changed ( I can see some emails for purchases from 2015 )
- What are the chances of me getting access back to the account?
- Should I simply put a fake email on the live support chat so that I cn speak to someone?

do you have any proof on your credit card that you purchased anything in the past using this account??

It was back in 2015 that anything was purchased so I'm not sure if I can get access to my bank from that far back. I have emails that prove I purchased stuff on the account & can probably provide the last 5 digits of the card used

You can use the email that the account had on it when you sold the Ps4 and yes you would have received a email saying the password has been changed
