I guess this is either the best or worst day to make this topic.
What's the best war movie?
Honorable mention for the basically long movies that were The Pacific and Band of Brothers.
I'd have to go with the obvious Saving Private Ryan and Hacksaw Ridge as joint best, but I have yet to see Dunkirk so who knows?
The Hurt Locker was brilliant too

Restrepo and Korengal are both very good documentaries. Gives you a better idea of what life is like while deployed. I love Hurt Locker, Lone Survivor, and We Were Soldiers.
