So pretty much, mercy is getting a bit of a nerf to her Resurrection ability, it now has a cast time, and can be interrupted by CC(Crowd Control), with a cast time from 0 to 1.75.
And if you played back when Ana got her rifle damage buff a while back, she was unstoppable fighting flankers, like Tracer and Genji. They're reverting the changes for her damage from 60 to 70.
Personally i think this is a fantastic change to both of these characters, at the moment. its a absolute must to have a Mercy on your team, attack and defense. Mercy has been a top pick for almost 4 seasons, passing Lucio.
Ana is great on pc, but she lacks on console, because of her aiming skill cap, a lot of people struggle with hitting moving targets. giving her damage back not only helps her Survivability but also pushes mercy down just a tad bit. shes still going to be top tier in competitive, but hopefully this makes it so she isn't a MUST pick for all matches.

I like the mercy changes a lot but she's still going to be a must pick even if this goes through just because of how powerful resurrect can be. I think ana needs a bit more than a damage boost to be a viable pick over zen or lucio but we'll see what happens.
