Hello, i put myself to a challenge to try and get to as close as TheTechGame's home page as i could in Visual Studios. Now, i know it seems stupid and why would i do it. Over the next few weeks as a little challenge for myself i will be going through websites, home pages and more trying to make something similar in Visual Studios. This means getting the exact colours, fonts, sizes dimensions and such right.
Some things are different as this was my first time, colours and not all the correct sizes. The little squares you see around icons and such are from me taking the SS while it was in Visual Studios. Also as you can tell some of the ads and such have changed by default and i also added some custom little stuff in there to make it my own, (hint) look in Latest Downloads and WHAT'S GOING ON?
Now this is my #1 go at going for TheTechGame's home page.

Just to add on, this is to practice and help me on creating further projects in the future. Criticism feedback would help but just being a plain dick about it isn't.

Hey this is actually really cool! Also it looks great. As I might at yours everything just seems a little bit bigger in size than the actual size but very well done. Good luck with this man love to see new progress on this kind of stuff. -Vest

I really like this piece. I'm somebody who personally likes minimalistic changes to make something look better.
The only two gripes I have is that the News section picture should align with where it says 'Latest news' instead of sticking out to the left.
Also, the bar at the top where it says home, make sure that the black box surrounding Home actually fills the grey box surrounding it. The grey line just above is probably a mistake on your behalf but if it isn't then I'd personally change it.
However, everything else I really like. Most other things are well aligned and a change of font to Century Gothic does look really nice and clean. I'm glad you didn't make drastic changes but you did make important ones. Looks really good and I hope my criticism is helpful. Have a good day

Thank you for the feedback, and yeah it was after i finished the project i found out the issues/problems i had done.

Typical really love the new design. As me I struggle with the small text, but this just give TTG a new whole field. It 's looks really nice and you did a really good job with it. Absolutely amazing work, Bud

Not bad i have to admit for someone who has just started!
However lol:)
The choice of text on the headers doesn't really fit at it doesn't really have consistency with other fonts, it could of also done with some more improvements, ie: Placement of Video's recent news, mainly the important sections.

this looks nicer and clean, but the original login bar looks better than the one on your version, other than that it's nice asf
