Looking to purchase my first gun (pistol) when I get my CCW this month. I was looking into Glocks and they look nice. Anyone have thoughts?

I recently bought a Smith and Wesson 9mm pistol, Its the first pistol I've owned and I love it. Good feel, affordable, got it for $290 with 4 mags, the guy at the gun shop threw in 2 extra, $64 worth.

Its a good pistol, not too small, Ill check in the morning to find the exact model. I bought it over the glock, the glocks were very expensive for a pistol IMO

EDIT: Its the SD9 VE STD Capacity, just found it online

Its extremely light too. Thats what made me get it actually, soon as I picked it up Its the first thing I noticed. The trigger is odd, you really have to squeeze the first shot you can actually see it in pictures the little extensions on the trigger, then after that you can fire off the next 16 pretty fast.

I have a Glock 17 Gen 4. I love it. I considered selling it to switch to another brand, but after shooting other pistols, nothing felt as good. I would stick with Glock. However, the model 17 is full size and harder to conceal. If you're wanting to conceal carry often I'd recommend the G19 Gen 5, which is brand new. It's more accurate and controllable than a 26, but still more compact than the 17.
