Nightfall requires Power level 240+ I believe. You don't want to change the difficulty because you're low with power. When you change the difficulty, it recommends you having 300+ power to try it. Stick with normal difficulty. Nightfall is too hard to complete by yourself anyways. You'll need a party of two or three. All enemies have 3x the health and do more damage. Aswell as you regenerate slowly. And it's time based. After you die, you have to wait a whole 5 seconds before you can be revived and another 15 if you're by yourself. My advice is doing public missions and changing them to heroic missions. If you don't know what that means, search it on YouTube. And don't worry about nightfall until you have two other reliable players. My other recommendation, is beating the game. You get an exotic enegram from Zavala when you do.

Beat the game. Stick with Vanguard Strikes. Change public events into heroic events. (Those are the quickest ways to get your power up. So essentially, you'll unlock night fall quicker.) I'm lvl 20 P.L. 264 and I can't complete nightfall by myself. I get half way through and it's done and over with.

Thanks for the feedback. I read that it was pl230 it unlocks so I'll do a couple strikes to get 240. I was just curious if it was a bug or I had the information wrong. Thanks again

This week is a hard one for nightfall. I'm 265 and I struggled. Grind out strikes for the time being, do the missions from Ikora etc. Every little helps in Destiny!
