So earlier I was messing around with virtual machines on my PC and in order for me to get it working I had to turn SVM on in my BIOS and I noticed just now when I ran cinebench my score went down to a 440. But as soon as I changed it back to off now my score is 1700 again. Why did SVM cause this to happen?

Just In case you need to know my specs and details.

Ryzen 1800x overclocked to 3.7 stable. I can get it to 4.0 but temps get too high for my taste on load (71 c)
Asus Strix 1080ti
GSKILL Trident z RGB 32gb on 3200mhz
NZXT Kraken x62 (2 fans on both sides)
Phanteks Evolv ATX tg
Gigabyte K7 motherboard
Samsung 960 evo 1tb M.2 (I think this is the name)
EVGA Supernova P2 850w
Seagate Barracuda 3tb

I'm not entirely sure, however I have seen people claiming that clock speeds were iffy once they enabled SVM. So, I'd check clock speeds and temperatures while running cinebench with SVM enabled to see if everything is normal. If everything is normal but your score is still stupid low, I'd probably just reset CMOS, and make sure BIOS and everything is up to date. If that doesn't help, I'm not too sure.

I want to talk about the clock speed of that 1800x anyway, 3.7GHz? 71c is a little toasty for the 1800x IF it's still displaying 20c lower than actual temperatures since that means it'd be running at 91c(Max temp for Ryzen is 95c). However, if it's actually displaying the real temperature then 71c is perfectly fine. You SHOULD be able to run an 1800x at 4GHz no problem. Even if 4GHz is a little iffy for you, 3.9GHz should be fine. Just FYI, in case you want higher clock speeds. Although, my 4790k can technically run 4.9GHz, 5GHz if I'm lucky(when it's winter and I disable HT) but I run it at 4.7GHz for lower temps so I can understand if you're just looking for a decent clock speed but fairly low temps. To be fair, that case won't help much with thermals, but it is a beauty.

Read through that, see if it's of any use. Otherwise, maybe make a thread there? I go there for help with stuff occasionally and it's usually pretty damn good.

I keep it at 3.7 because I dont really need an overclock but I want the core clock to stay consistent and not jump around at 3.7 it is around 62c on load after 20 taken away at 4.0 it is 71c after 20 is taken away.
