So I have a 1060 graphics card and only has one HDMI port so I wanna just plug my other cord into the on board graphics as just need the other screen to monitor stuff and my other one to play my games and stuff any help please My motherboard is MSI Z170-A Pro?

you need to use either DVI or Displayport. You can't use the integrated graphics and a graphic card.

Having a GPU installed and using both GPU and onboard graphics will just not work. As mentioned used DVI, Displayport, whatever is free on your GPU.

Obvs check your outputs on your monitor.

Enable iGPU multi-monitor in BIOS. Connect your second monitor to your motherboard. Power on system. Open display settings in Windows, and enable extended display.

Would just be easier if you used a DVI/DP cable for the 2nd monitor though. Or an adapter.

sounds like you need an hdmi hub
