You can find the Shoutbox situated in the top right of the website under Quick Links > Shoutbox
Every now and again you may hear the odd VERY LOUD noise coming through your speakers, Not to worry it's simply one of the Moderators / Admins having a good old rave in the Shoutbox!..
Here's how you can prevent these noises from happening:

Click on Settings
And then set "Play Shout Alert" to NO.
Whilst being active you'll have the chance to earn yourself some Reputation Level given to you by what is called the "Rep Fairy" you'll know once she's been by 2 signs...
Once you have been visited "25 Times" by the Rep Fairy you shall be presented with the following badge:

The First being you've just been given +200 REP by TheTechGame shown below

The Second Sign is you will Hear the sound of a fairy's dust being sprinkled through you headset ( If you have Shout Alerts ON )
Once you have been visited "25 Times" by the Rep Fairy you shall be presented with the following badge:

- Make sure you pay attention to this -
Sometimes you may see members in the shoutbox taking the mickey out of each other.. DO NOT let this put you off from saying HI! , Never take anything 100% or 50% serious! We are all there to let off some steam and have a laugh "Within Reason & Within The Rules".
If something offending is said to you then please do not take any notice of it and just laugh it off
