No. The laptop isn't really going to perform really well even with light games. It's basically a productivity tool.

Web browsing, Microsoft Outlook type tasks, video watching/streaming (YouTube, Twitch, ect,) light photo editing, and verrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrry light gaming. You'll mostly be stuck with 2d platformers and some older 3D type games. Flash games you can run. You'll be stuck with games such as Quake 1/2, Terraria, The Binding of Issac. TF2 and Counter Strike Source you might be able to get away with on lower end settings. Just basically, don't get your hopes up at all for much gaming or anything with this thing, you'll only frustrate yourself if you're expecting great results.

Photoshop isn't too heavy if you're not trying to make it heavy. Basic GFX artwork isn't going to kill your PC. If you were do hardcore photo editing and manipulation, where you're getting hundreds of layers for one image or simply if you were drawing a picture that was 4096x3072 or bigger, then that would be a load on your system for rendering.

GIMP is another software for photo editing that never seemed too heavy on your PC; however, you can/could "break" it by putting in a wrong resolution for an image or gif, and then when you got save, suddenly you're trying to render and save a 200GB image. I don't know if this has been fixed or not - it kind of is your own fault if you don't pay attention but that can easily cause a crash on the software and/or stress your laptop out.

There's other software that you could take a look at, but I'm sure most you will be buying unless you can find a way to get them for free without giving your laptop the equivalent of Internet AIDS.
