When mine dropped down the toilet i left it turned off in rice for 48 hours. Was fine ever since.

About a year ago I dropped my 6S in a puddle of water outside when it was raining and I turned it off immediately and put it in a bowl of rice for about 24 hours and it was good after that. If you could leave it for 24 hours that would great, if not, I would recommend leaving it for at least 12 hours.

i left it for about 2 hours and it went back to normal
