@OP it is possible that whoever made your console used a different method for booting into xell. If you can dump/have a dump of your nand you can open it in xebuild and it should show you what option is selected to boot into xell

Ahh that's where I'm confused, I'm on a rgh and I don't need to press the eject button as nothing happens for me, so that's where I'm confused about as I only know about xexmenu, freestyle and freedash (i think that's the name) oh and Aroria or whatever it's called, I'm not near my console.

Never had to deal with anything like this, or even touch my nand. If he wants to use a KV all you have to do is move the file into your HDD and re-power the console, it will shut off and it will reboot then boom your online?

I'm newish to the whole modding scene again, but I know how to install programs, rip the game, use the correct files (Title updates and the patches)

I know nothing about my rgh tbh so any help is appreciated ;p

You don't need to use Xell to update your dash...

You will need to rebuild your nand with xell being the first 52 blocks. Whoever rgh'd your console had their settings set to not write xell to final image apparently.

You will want to use a program such as flash 360 to acquire a nand dump. Once you get your nand dump you will need to get latest xebuild. When you create your new image the settings should automatically set the correct xell image to write and do all the brain work for you. You can then use flash360 to rewrite your newly created updflash.bin

I feel like ive done all of that, I've definitely done the thing in xebuild
