Hey guys. So I've been out of the whole YouTube thing for quite some time now and wanting to get back into it. I used to record games on my pc and do tutorials etc. but now I'm wanting to record on my PS4/Xbox one. So I just have some questions hopefully you all can answer for me.

1. Is the best way to record still using a capture card? If so what is the best capture card? Is it still the Elgato?

2. What is the best Microphone for recording to YouTube? Please list your fav headset microphone & standalone microphone.

3. If I do have to use a capture card, what is the best program to use to record with to your pc from your console?

Please answer as many questions you can as I am heading to Best Buy as I am writing this.

All together what is your fav setup for recording consoles. Lol let me know some cool stuff you guys use or want to get to record for YouTube.

Thank's

Capture Card: Hauppauge HD PVR 2 Gaming Edition OR the Elgato HD60 Pro

Microphone: Audio Technica AT-2020, Blue Snowball, or Blue Yeti
Capture Card Program: The program that comes with your capture card

Editing Software: Sony Vegas 14(You can probably get it for free on YouTube)

Hope this helps
