I'd like to start off by saying, yes Floyd Mayweather has the upper-hand.
But what people don't understand is that Connor Mcgregor is not only trained to take and hit punches, but is physically trained to adjust to any based fighting style. Yes Mayweather is known to be undefeated, but Mcgregor has heart and I believe he'll be giving his best as an MMA(UFC) fighter.
Not to mention, I think this is all for publicity and he'll be getting over-paid regardless. But I trust that he has the potential chance of knocking out Mayweather.

Giving the circumstances, I'd say its a 35/65 advantage for Mayweather. But it'll be a fun fight to watch.

I haven't really kept up with either sports, but I have read a few replies off of Reddit that kind of give me an opinion of who I think will win.

The biggest one I've seen, is that Nate Diaz made McGregor gas out hard, which people use to argue is his weakness against Mayweather, since apparently Mayweather is more defensive and runs the time/stamina down instead of a full frontal assault. Coming from seeing tidbits of the Mayweather vs Pacquiao, it's apparent that he is more on the defensive side of things. With that said though, people also try to put in Mayweather's age, where as McGregor is apparently in his prime right now. Seeing a few clips of McGregor, his left hand seems to be the one that Mayweather needs to look out for, given how he throws a right jab and then comes in with the left.

I want McGregor to win, I like his cocky, egotistic attitude, that looks like he does to unhinge an opponent and that appeals to me more. Plus, I like the sport of MMA more than boxing, seeing how it is extremely similar to Systema. However, given that McGregor can't use his leg or foot work like he could in MMA, has to adapt to boxing rules and of course, going against a boxer of years, I believe Mayweather will end up winning. Be that from getting a few jabs and playing the clock down or he gasses McGregor out and goes for a knockout. On the other hand, if McGregor has upped his stamina and won't get gassed out so hard, and is able to break Mayweather's defensive line, I think McGregor has the power behind for a TKO.

Either way, I might drop like $500 on McGregor and see where it goes, if the odds get skewed against him, and he ends up winning, I'll buy the Irish a round of Guinness lol

This is like the 10th different thread I've seen so far.. Mayweather all day even though I don't like him, but McGregor won't win.

I'm saying McGregor is winning. Bet my friend $150 as soon as the fight was officially confirmed. No way he loses, even though they are boxing, doesn't matter.

I'll always go Mcgregor. However, If Mcgregor doesn't knock Floyd out, then Floyd will win. Mcgregor is a serious fighter with a lot of talent and such a dangerous left-hand, however this is boxing, not MMA. Conor won't be able to 'out box' Floyd as Floyd knows the point system too well and will just jab and run.

Will be an interesting bout and I'll be backing Mcgregor all the way, in the end, he has the least to lose.

I feel like mayweather definitely has the advantage in this match. They're boxing something that McGregor is foreign to which puts him at a huge disadvantage, even though McGregor has been training it's nothing like Mayweather who has been boxing his whole life/ career.

Has to be McGregor I know people are saying Mayweather because it is a boxing match, but you have to remember he hasn't had a decent fight for years. McGregor is dangerous and everyone underestimated him against Aldo and look what he did there.

If McGregor sticks to his UFC stances I feel he'll win. I'm not into going into mad detail I just say If McGregor goes into boxing acting like a boxer I can't see him winning, If he sticks with his natural stance I don't think Mayweather will be able to read his next move.

Irish all the way anyways

I agree with you, McGregor needs to stick to his usual game, he is just as quick as Mayweather.
