hey everyone my name is zNastyFloodzzz and I know I am just starting to adapt to the way TTG works and such but I remember a few years ago I used to have a friend who would host modded lobbies for the community on here and he would get loads of friend requests and invites etc. Now I am beginning to notice whenever I see someone hosting a lobby or if I am hosting one nobody wants to join or comment under the topic. Is it because modding is dead or is it because I am a PS3 modder? I have been modding for five years and remember when modding was big starting from the older cods where you would get loads of reactions from people just because you were hosting a lobby or using unfair aimbot lol. Now these new gen modders just want to derank people and talk about how they downloaded all these mod menus and such so they can look like huge hackers when in reality they are just script kiddies (Kosdff reference) I am learning the basics of coding in college so soon I will be able to code my own menus. Anyways what do you guys think of these new 2017 modders? and should anyone looking for modded lobbies come to ttg more often?

From what I've read, Xbox modding isn't dead just yet. I do see people doing modded lobbies every once in a while in Black Ops 2 and people still want and buy recoveries, that's at least from what I see whenever I go into the CoD Forum.

A factor in you not seeing much movement in modding is that it's PS3. I've gone into the Playstation Forum and it's pretty dead most of the time.

Thats what it seems to be, because whenever you go into a lobby on any cod there's either backup/usb modders and others with jailbroken ps3s

Everyone has moved on from PS3/Xbox 360 etc from what I see. Until modding actually comes to Xbox One/PS4 (doubt it'll reach it's full peak until years from now if at all even if people find out how to do their own version of rgh'ing) then modding will always be how it is now. Who knows if it ever starts up again either. That's my answer. But I wouldn't expect to see modding ever be like how it used to be. MW2 was an amazing game to play and especially play with mods on, and who knows if a game like that will ever come along again. Who knows. I would eventually like to see it though.

360 modding isint dead, still very much alive it's just most people have modded account's so it's not as big as what it was but Xbox One modding has just started and i bet it's opened a new door of opportunities.
It's not that nobody want's to join it's just most people have seen it all before.
