What is the difference between Tablet and Cellphone for videPosted:

Hello,there! sorry to ask this kind of stupid question, but I really want to konw, if we can use the Tablet to make phone call and sent message, should we still use the Smart Phone?

I think the boundary between Tablet and Phone is the screen size about 7inch. When the Cell Phone has a screen over 7inch,we call it Tablet. When the Tablet has a screen below 7inch, we call it cellphone. Since the smart phone is getting bigger and bigger everyday, why not just make a Tablet phone?

I got a Tablet PC that has two different operational OS: android6.0 and win10. its made of X86 framework, Intels Atom CPU, not the ARM framework that smart phone always used. I can use it to play PC games in win10, and switch to android to make phone call, take phone, play mobile games.etc

Of course, its too big for my pocket, but if you are a hardcore game player as me, you will like it. The big screen is best for ACT and FPS games, and much better when you watch the film. how ever, some APP on android may not running normally, because its actually a mini sized computer in X86 framework.

This kind of Tablet is very popular in my country(china),the screen size of those device is from 7inch to 11.2inch,just like the Surface Pro and Mac Pad.I just want to know, is there any same kind of device in your country? What is the difference between Tablet and Cellphone for video game players?If you have a tablet cellphone, would like to throw your smart phone away and use it in your daily life?

The tablet market is complicated. Manufactures try to cater to both work and recreation. I personally believe that tablets should be used for recreation or business-specific apps (such as inventory management) and not used to making calls.
