I have recently purchased a 2013 1.25 Fiesta zetec, my question is for a 1.25 if I were to get it remapped would it add much power to the car? So would it be worth it?

Remapping / tuning changes what the cars computer sees for numbers (trying to show more airflow so it dumps in more fuel, etc.). You will see a gain in HP and torque, however if you get too power hungry and try to double your HP on just a tune you will screw up your car tremendously. Just use the remap / tune to get 25ish HP and call it good, then get the supporting mods like an exhaust system, a true CAI (not the Ebay garbage ones that draw hot air from the engine bay), etc. etc.

Remapping a non-turbo car in my opinion is normally a waste of money. Granted that remapping a non-turbo can still improve the fuel efficiency and give slight increases in power and torque, although there are gains they won't be noticeable enough. I'd recommend the likes of a K&N CAI (Cold Air Intake) and then an exhaust system, personally I've always thought that the Miltek exhaust systems sound great on the 4cyl Fords. Granted you could pair the CAI + Exhaust and then a remap and you'd probably notice the difference. The 1.25 Duratec starts off with around 80HP I believe.

My stock 90bhp 1.6 Polo got to about 140BHP and honestly it was fine, just be wary of wheel hop and spinning when harshly changing from 1st to 2nd or on banks/hills

Other wise, enjoy your powerrrrrrr

CAI have been proven not to do anything because in 99.99999% of cases they actually draw hotter air than the factory air box. The CAI is just a open filter in your engine bay when the factory air box is an enclosed filter that has tubing to get air from outside the car. My old truck had it coming from the fender, and my brother Mustang has it coming from the grill. Also with filters like the K&N (or any "washable filter" for that matter) they have a thin coating of oil that traps dirt and gets them very dirty very quickly.
