I want to take my car on holiday with me because I can't hire one due to not being 21. I'm visiting Ohio because I have a few friends I've met over the years of going out there and I was wondering how would I go about taking my car with me.

It's a 1.6 Diesel POLO
Stage 1 currently Sitting at 140 Ponys

Any help is appreciated.

Get in it and drive it?

If you're not from the US then I think shipping would be super expensive. It might be cheaper to buy a POS here to drive around or rent a car off Turro (private party rentals).

I'm from the UK and you have to be 21 to rent vehicles if you're from a different country.

That's going to be one expensive import cost that could take a long time too.

Have you checked if you're even allowed to import your car over to the US for a start? You need to look up the laws on importing cars to the US and driving them in your case.

From a car rental place, yes. Turro is private party rentals meaning you and I renting our own personal cars. You could also find a car for rent on Craigslist, but depending on the length of your stay it might be cheaper to buy a car.
