I just had a crazy night at work and I want to share the story because I'm still pumped from it. This all happened about 1-2 hours ago.

If you don't know I work in security at a large casino. It's a friday night so we generally have a busy night up until around 3-4am then it quiets down. We had about average attendance for the weekend, but everyone seemed to be well behaved. I wasn't called upon for any incidents all night... up until around 3am.
I had to go to the top floor of the hotel with the police for a domestic disturbance. I was just a representative for the casino, it was the police's incident. So I just kind of stood back, it wasn't a big deal. But then a call comes over the radio for an active fight involving multiple parties, at like the other end of the building. So I inform one of the officers, and then take off. I had to wait for the slowest elevator ever to come all the way up and bring me back down to the ground floor, and then i ran all the way over there. It was a little frustrating because when I got there some of my coworkers and the police had it mostly separated, but I love the action of being in it... People were already on the ground in cuffs, and security made a perimeter around the scene, keeping the gathering crowd back. I joined in on holding a suspect down, as the police went around and cuffed people. To my surprise officers from the next town over even showed up. Then we picked up all the suspects and started escorting them to the police office... I was walking this chick who was screaming the whole way.

It was a good time.
Honestly stuff like this doesn't happen too often, I haven't dealt with a large fight in a long time but the adrenaline rush is awesome.

I wish I could be involved in this kind of stuff every night. That's why I'm trying to become a police officer.

Thank you. I've applied to 5 departments, local, state, and federal. So hopefully one works out.

The craziest it's ever gotten at my job (Advanced Auto Parts) is a co-worker tackling a guy who was trying to steal a power converter.

But sounds like a hectic and fun night at your job hahaha.
