What's everyone's views on the latest walking dead seasons?
Me personally think the show has gotten a little silly with the pet tiger and the way they speak old English I much prefer the beginning seasons

That being said I still really enjoy the show haha

What's your opinion?
What do you think would make it better/ more interesting?

I agree with you, I much prefer the first few seasons as well since they mainly focused on zombies. In the past few seasons the biggest threat isn't zombies, it's the people which is understandable but I'd love to see zombies actually having some relevance.

I still love it there was maybe 2 or 3 episodes that I thought were boring this season but I still enjoyed it.

I have watched the show since day one and my honest opinion.

The show has lost it's way, The show started off with zombies and survival which was amazing. They went more towards the human threat scene which is totally understandable as humans are worst then the zombies but the last season had maybe one or 2 actual zombie scenes in it.

That and they talk WAY to much, having a few talking scenes in it is okay but when you spend half of an episode showing Morgan talking to someone over a slow cooking fire. It gets boring fast, i'll watch this show until the end but i hope they switch paths.

I lost all faith in this show when they casted Jeffery Dean Morgan as Negan.

Speaking of Negan, everything that makes Negan well, Negan, espcially dialog, from the comics, can't happen on the show.

It's boring now. It's was almost cringe worthy the last time I watched it. It's gone way downhill, and will probably continue to do so.

I grew extremely bored of the show after the third season. Too repetitive in my taste.

You could say I'm a 'little' obsessed with the show.

I've been watching the show since it's release; and for me the first 5 seasons made it one of the greatest TV shows ever made. Although the past 2 seasons have really disappointed me. The threat has switched from zombies to humans which kinda sucks. The show is called 'The Walking Dead' not 'The Crazy people from the Sanctuary'.

I have read a few articles that quote Frank Darabont and Robert Kirkman saying that Season 8 will focus more on the walkers and try to change what the fans haven't like the past two seasons which is great.

But if you like The Walking Dead watch Fear The Walking Dead. At the moment, it's a lot better than TWD.

I personally think that the show has lost its touch with the past couple of seasons. The show used to be orientated on the walking dead (hence the show's name), but now every episode consists of survivors defending/attacking each other or a slow, emotional character-building episode to act as a filler. Some of the season finales have been awful as well.

There has been the occasional episode where it will be zombie-orientated, but not as much as there used to be. I liked the first season especially, because the survivors were in the city, where there was huge swarms of walking dead, resulting in more action and every episode had you on the edge of your seat, but the recent seasons have just bored me.

I completely agree, past 3 seasons have been awful and left on dissatisfying cliff hangers. By that I mean it's not making you want to watch the first episode of the next season. This seasons finale was okayish, but I would've changed so many things about the storyline. At the moment its all over the place and too many characters to focus on.

Next season I'm hoping they stray away from the comics and just kill everyone but the 7 or so main characters from Alexandria and everyone from the Hilltop. At the moment theres too many people and if they want to focus on the walkers which the fans want they need to kill A LOT of people.
