seems like i can never win with this crap.

so power went out earlier today.
and only now i tried to get on my pc.
turned it on, realized nothing was displaying on monitor.
tried unplugging hdmi cord from monitor and gpu. still nothing.
in the midst of this i realized my kb wasn't even lighting up.

note, when i boot my pc, fans spin, leds light up, gpu, mb & ram are lit.

searched google seems like my psu is crapped idk.
yes i have a surge protecter, my xbox works just fine from the same outlet.

power was out for maybe like 10 mins or so then came back on for maybe 10 mins again only to go back out around another 10 mins later.

everything i tried on google doesn't work.
i tired to reset cmos, unplug power cord and wait, unplug power cord and hold power button on case for 30 sec. unplugged 24 pin from mb.

rip pc. any help is appreciated but ill probably just call an it guy in a couple days only to blow more money of this damn computer.
thanks.

Sound like mobo has gone.

Although you are surge protected which is good, power still remains in the capicitors in the PSU and mb. It's possible one of these capicitors has blown which is rather common and is quite shitty...

Check your mb and check if you have caps like these below.

If not, I'd suggest testing your PSU with a tester which I doubt you have handy... Should get around 12v when PSU has power with around 6 (Amps I believe).

Post some details pictures if you can bud.

Thanks.

Will do tomorrow when I can. Already gave up for the night as I was just frustrating myself for about an hour. Thanks for the suggestion.
