The last episode of Attack on Titan season 2 aired today and at the end reveled season 3 will air in 2018

I am surprised that a season 3 will be coming so soon, at the earliest I expected Q3 of 2018, but it seems like we may have Season 3 within the first half of 2018. I would assume season 3 to be another 1-cour, and then between now and then there will be another batch of OVAs.
Just finished watching season 2, the pacing is slow but gives you detail, however it is a shame that the plot progression from this season is comparable to like 6 episodes from the first season. I still believe that season 3 is going to be a 1-cour, and there will be a season 4 to follow, once again 1-cour.
@Nodus Mikasa is evidently the new Yuno.

I'm watching dub only for AOT. Not up to date with the sub but I can't wait to see season 3 myself when I haven't even finished season 2 yet lol. From what I hear season 2 ending is a cliff hanger, don't post spoilers please

Ending of S2 solidified Mikasa as best girl. Can't believe Eren pulled a Tatsumi and

Other than that nice last episode, still wish they did 24 episodes though since hardly anything happened in comparison to S1.

they will have to do a 2-cour season. It ended on chapter 50 and in the manga they don't see the ocean like the trailer till chapter 90, so they have to do 24 or more episodes if they want to do the ocean and considering it's 2 arcs.
