Most of the anime people are recommending are action. So I'll give you a few.

Action/Romance/Harem/Dub:
Kill la kill
Black Blood Brothers(Vampire)
Aria the scarlet ammo(Badass Red head w/ guns)
Sengoku basara end of judgement(didn't finish, was good though)
Tokyo Ravens(Highly recommend)
Demon King Daimou(Demon King Harem)

Close to Samurai Champloo:
Lord Marksman And Lady Vanadis
Basilisk
Samurai harem asu no yoic
Inyuasha(Half demon with a sword)
Samurai Jack

Overlord, Another and Jieitai Kanochi nite, Kaku Tatakaeri were all good anime if you're into action. Another is a horror anime, it's pretty short but worth the watch.
