Personally, I'd go for something Japanese, but tha'ts me being bias. I'm a huge enthusiast of 80s/90s/Early 2000s JDM cars. I'd just go with something you know you'll enjoy and have fun driving and working on.

See, I don't know much about cars so I'm going to be the basic guy in the group and say anything Dodge based. Charger, Challenger, Ram, etc. Just because that's what I know best.

I'm currently looking to purchase my second car in the UK too. Just hard trying to think of a sportyish hatch thats decent for insurance too.

Recently I've been interested in the Vauxhall Astra GTC VXR. The insurance is like £5k a year though so it's put me fully off. Just the styling and how wide it is, is enough for me. Quite sporty too.

_Supra_ wrote I agree with Skrt ( sorry buddy didn't mean to dislike your post, was an accident.) IMO one car I would consider is a 2013 A3 2.0L S Line. My cousin has one and he paid about £12,000 for his and I must say it's extremely rapid for what it is.

They are okay cars but a bit dull and slow for my liking as standard. Would be looking at an S3 if I went down the audi route or the 2012 Audi RS3

Have found that a lot of the japanese cars are quite pricey to insure and a lot of insurance companies want you to be 25 for S15's etc

Yeah it can be hard as have to consider running costs including insurance for everything. Im wanting something around the 300+ bhp mark that isnt to bad on insurance. Dont have anything against the new astra Vxr but doesnt appeal to me for some reason and their value drops like crazy.

Ive driven the Golf R, M235i, A few different minis and nothing has taken my fancy yet. Think its hard to find a car that is as much fun as ths Fiesta ST but they are just becomming so common that I want rid of it now after almost 3 years. Was a fun car to own at 18 though and the insurance was very cheap when it first came out
